Famous in the Middle Ages as "the city of a thousand bells", Dijon today still conserves the historical centre, numerous in sites of culture, cloisters, abbeys and monastic structures, but also testimonies to its rich past, like the lavish Palace of the Duchy, which today houses the Museum of Fine Arts.
In Dijon, follow the path of the Little Owl! It’s starting place being the Tourist Office and is composed of 22 stages marked by a symbol of the Little Owl, to accompany the visitor along the points of interest of the city. Begin the journey by placing your left hand on the head of the Little Owl in the stone meeting place in the namesake Rue de la Chouette, it is said to bring good luck.
